"Hypocrite" - a Dutch artist lady made the same point a few years ago with ghastly little puppets and ornaments made from dead mice, cats, rabbits etc, that people are upset and outraged when forced to face up to a few animals' deaths for human pleasure/profit, yet eat meat, wear makeup/use medicine tested on animals, eat eggs laid by hens in battery farms etc... these animals are killed in the billions and often suffer in incredibly inhumane ways.
We choose to ignore these things, pretend like they aren't there whilst enjoying the benefits.
Isn't there something wrong when slaughterhouse scenes are incredibly shocking and offensive to most meat-eating westeners?
When someone kills an animal for 'art', instead of meat (etc) he's a monster, a freak and surely a terrible person.
It is blatant, vile hypocrisy.

However it still takes a fucking sick puppy to kill a cat in his bathtub in this manner, no matter how important or valid his point is.
At least the Dutch woman's animals were euthanised legally and painlessly. Her point was far more original and elegantly made, and no animals actually suffered for her art.
I believe he should be prosecuted for animal abuse and treated like any lunatic who kills little animals for kicks (instead of to simply pay the bills like a slaughterhouse worker, haha!).

Also, you are making his point by being upset about it and making a fuss
Online petitions are really a waste of everyone's time.

i'm not hungarian, and this sucks, but one question:
why has the government not already done something about this? I'm reasonably certain that Hungary, like most western countries, has anti-animal cruelty laws, so why hasn't this fellow come under the jurisdiction of said laws?

That's probably because there is a difference whether we like to admit it or not.

There are other ways to convey a viewpoint, but it isn't all that nourishing eating words or a picture.

And where is a line to be drawn? Is it cruel to use insecticide to kill insects that damage crops, or are insects considered to be 'dispensible'?
