FEATURES AND TIPS:
There is an amazing selection of single-person model stock to choose from in the gallery but luckily we also have stockers that can work with other people in couples or groups.
Grabbing a friend or family member for a stock photo shoot is an awesome idea. Not only do you not have to play with an imaginary friend but you can use them as furniture! Um, I mean... you can interact with them for shoots that would have you sitting on their lap (or vica versa), dancing, mimicking and so on.
TIPS FOR POSING:

Use them as furniture! Okay, I really said it that time. Plop them down in a chair and sit on their lap, pick them up, throw them over your shoulder and
USE them to elevate you the way that a chair or table would. It's more fun this way though

Use them to give you inertia. Twirling around an imaginery dancefloor is so much more fun when someone else is twirling you, or you are twirling them.

Create a mini-story and work with it. You're a vampire, they're a vampire hunter. You're about to get staked. Decide on poses and expressions and work with each other. The vampire hunter will be yelling out 'KILL KILL VILE DEMON!' while you either attack, defend or cower in fear. There are MANY ways to work with your partner in regards to posing and expressions.

Make them your mirror image. You may not have one of those kick-ass full-body mirrors you see people using in stock, and the last thing we want to see if you looking in the mirror of your bathroom with the sink cluttered beyond belief - so instead of using a mirror you can use another person. Mimick their exact movement and facial expression. You don't even need to face them to be doing it - have your back to them or turn side on.

If you have children, and don't mind posting pictures of them on the internet, grab them in for a family portrait. It's always lovely seeing the family behind the deviant account. They're also relatively rare - but are awesome for portrait artists wanting to practice their 'group' art.

Got a wedding or birthday coming up? Celebrations are a great time to get the camera out and take photos of people without needing a reason!
STOCK TUTORIAL OF THE WEEK:
Seeing as how I have a lot of stockers on my list that are constantly asking for constructive critique and help with how they do their stock, I want to draw some more attention to the bundle of Stock related Tutorials that have been submitted to deviantart - most of them are by long time stockers that have found a few simple ways to make their stock just a little bit nicer and more useable for artists.
THIS WEEK:

Stock Artists, dA Artists: *
Lindowyn has opened up an awesome thread to invite stockers to show everyone the other side of them. Their art! Yes, you heard correctly - a lot of stock artists also have general art or photography account. So yes, we do know about art. We don't just supply the resources for it
A good ize.: This is a thread both stockers and artists should read and give their input for. ~
StockCity has asked what a good size/resolution is for stock photos. Of course, a lot of artists will say 'the bigger the better!' but we'd also like to know what the minimum size should be and what should be our 'average' guideline for posting stock pictures.

I threatened him that we would gang up on him. Maybe I SHOULD make that forum thread asking for people to 'sign' saying they want him to do it
