American photographer Spencer Tunick, already known for his 7000 nude photo shoot in Spain, is at it again, this time hoping to photograph his largest batch of nudes yet. Who knows? He might do it--the arena he's reserved, Zocalo Square, can hold up to 150,000 people. That's a big deal, when you factor in the thought that there might actually be that many strangers willing to stand (lie?) around naked with each other for the sake of art.
Tunick arranges his subjects in patterns of skintones, and says he intends to make statements on issues of nudity and privacy. I'm not sure if his grand scale shoots are meant to impress by scale or by content, but I looked at some of his work, and found it to be rather interesting. Some of you might, too.
If you're going to be in the area (Mexico City)May 6, be sure to check it out.
If anyone actually wants to participate, you can apparently still register here:

If you can't make Mexico City, try Amsterdam on June 3, where his next project will take place.

No, Monkey. You don't need the system. The system needs you.
Other positions, eh eh eh?
I think it's pretty damn cool, although if it was my idea, I'd make it a little more interesting than lined up by skintone!
