Over my time here on deviantART I have often heard people complain about the staff, about their work around the community or on the helpdesk. I'm sure many people believe that to get something done by a staff member you must have connections with the staff.
Well those people are wrong.
Lately I've had reason to submit a few problems to the help desk, when I've never had to before. I didn't know what to expect. Well you know what? The helpdesk is actually helpful. They got back to me quickly, solving my problems on the first reply, other than that little note telling you they're forwarding it to the relevant staff member. Yes, that's right, they let you know what's going on! Even when I asked the normal helpdesk about something I later discovered should probably have gone to the Prints helpdesk, they fixed it right away. So don't just assume the staff are bad. They're great, helpful and such wonderful people!
And now for my big thank you.
Recently my computer broke, causing me to lose all my art created since october 2006. I was at a loss, but then I remembered some of them were prints. I sent a request for the files to the Prints helpdesk, and the next day they were sitting in my inbox.
I will be forever grateful to the Prints Team for that.
Although I know this would probably be better in my journal, I wanted to let you all know that the system works! Have faith in our staff members, treat them kindly, and this community will continue to grow and remain the great place it is.
