The Soldier is male, he married a young white girl, and he has a baby on the way, whom he has never met.
The Soldier is a romantic ideal.

, said that art of a sexual nature can “ provoke thoughts about our dreams, fears, desires, and place in the world"...yes! Well done art that deals with sex exposes the soul of the subject or act in question, not just the naughty bits. I feel that any kind of work on this site that looks at sexuality in a thoughtful or artistic or critical or celebratory, etc. way is certainly appropriate content for an art site, because, of course, this work is actually ART.

It explains how some graffiti artists began to sell their art for money. There are people in the world who think that graffiti is art and not vandalism and other who feel the opposite way. I feel like graffiti is a work of art and should not be banned or should not be against the law. Even though I consider graffiti art I don't think it should be sold to galleries and to people. I think graffiti was meant for the streets and that's where it should stay. What's your opinion on this topic?

Four or more - polyptych features

reports, May 5, 2007In a couple of previous articles we've explored two and three panel works - the diptychs and triptychs. Today we add even more parts and have a look at what is then called a polyptych.
The polyptych is a work of art divided into four or more sections or panels. Originally polyptychs were a technique used for altarpieces, painted or carved, but today the technique of putting multiple parts together to one piece of art, is used in various media and forms and the variations are endless. Of course dA is filled with great examples of just how creative one can get with polyptychs.
So without further ado please have a look at the beautiful pieces in this selection and go and shower the artists with comments and favs
