There are a great many artist features here on deviantArt that give attention to a wide range of genres. It's a wonderful thing to see, so many people working to give attention to deserving artists. However, it seems that many groups, and one especially, go fairly unnoticed. Photographers, digital artists, painters, sketch artists, they all have their place in this world. It's time for another group to take a greater place in the spotlight.

Collage artists go largely unrecognized and unacknowledged in the art world; this is especially evident here on dA. As a group of diverse talents and varied knowledge, it's high time they recieved some due attention.

Collaging is a lot more than just gluing scraps of paper together. It's more than using various mediums to create a singular image. Collaging requires a diverse knowledge of many types of art forms, including painting, photography, drawing, the use of textiles, and even sculpture. Collage artists are a group of people with intensely creative minds, looking to combine the works of others with their own creations in order to fashion something completely their own.
