~Soundzine is an audio e-journal for both written and recorded literature.
SOUNDZINE UPDATE
Were very pleased to say that
Issue #1 was a huge success. Soundzine has received a lot of great feedback, not only from our wonderful deviantART audience, but from members of respected poetry sites such as PFFA and The Alsop Reviews Gazebo.
In conjunction with *
LitFFS, Soundzine will very soon be bringing you some exciting new competitions, with winning pieces produced and published as a Soundzine special feature.
HINT: Drama, Drama, Drama!!! (the good kind!) So keep an eye out for future news and watch us at ~
Soundzine. Future issues will be full of spectacular audio poetry and prose features, beautiful art, and some real surprises.
PLEASE NOTE: The submission period for Issue #2 will close June 30th.
Places for poetry and prose are rapidly filling up. Instructions for submitting work, including audio files, can be found on our
Submission Guidelines page. All submissions should be emailed to
submissions@soundzine.org. If you have any questions, feel free to note us.
Although we prefer recordings done by the author, we do have in-house readers, and will accept submissions unaccompanied by a sound file if we feel that the poem or prose piece is of high quality, and lends itself well to being read by our staff-readers.
We are also interested in publishing quality fine art and photography that compliments the themes of Soundzines written works. This is a great opportunity to get off-site exposure for your work with full credit, including links to your page and print account. Feel free to note us with expressions of interest.
