Hi, my name is Alicia and I am with a group who are currently working on RPG which we called Forsaken Angel: Divided Heaven.
With the synopsis of:-
Two Entities of the Same Fruit
One carries Damnation, while the other Salvation
Ever since the beginning of time two entities have been stagnant in the galaxy: the Radiants. Violet Radiant, the Angel of Order, has been the pillar of light while Rose, the Angel of Chaos, was the pillar of Dark. Although opposite, they are twin sisters born in the Galactic Core. For centuries these two pillars have been into countless wars behind the knowledge of everyone, equally matched, one never getting the upper hand, until now.
The Gemini Empire, a rising faction, with a lust for power and control have gotten knowledge of Violet's existence and are after her for unknown reasons. And theres another group named as The Organization which its intentions are still a mystery. Violet decided in order to maintain balance , she must look for what remaining good that's left in the corrupted galaxy. With her guardian Seth by her side and with the help of new allies, she must put a stop the Imperials' war from turning the galaxy into a chaotic ruin.
We have come to the decision that, in the meantime, the FA project would be absolutely perfect for a webcomic - specifically, a story-driven, character-developing webcomic.
So I come to you guys to ask a favor: I've been searching for some time now, and as of yet cannot find an artist that would be willing to join in on this endeavor. So, the favor I wish to ask of all of you, I have is to try and find a talented artist that would agree to the following:
1) They do the artwork, I do the writing. SNES would most likely be my editor. The artist is certainly allowed to disagree with parts of the script and contribute his/her own ideas, but for the most part, we'd have kind of a Penny-Arcade relationship - I'm Tycho, he/she is Gabe. I have no artistic talent with pen/paper/photoshop, but I have acceptable writing skills, especially where dialogue is concerned.
2) They'd have to be willing to do one of the following systems of updates:
-a) Once weekly, w/color
-b) Twice weekly, w/out color
I myself would prefer option A, as the character look supremely better in color than in B&W. Compromises are welcome.
3) They are more than able to create other characters, and decisions can be made on adding them into the comic. Whether they get gametime in the future will be decided, but for the comic's purposes, the more the merrier.
4) I will be more than happy to pay for a server once we get started, provided the artist can help support it once the project gets going, through various means. These can be either bonus arcs done in the same manner that Las Lindas and DMFA do them, or in the manner that Jay Naylor does - their choice, and I would be glad to help with either.
5) The artist must be able to keep in constant contact with me to make sure everything goes well. I will not rush him/her, nor will I force them to do the comic one week if something comes up. I want them to do feel comfortable doing this, but dedicated to the project. In other words, I don't mind not getting an update for a week or two if something important happens, but I don't want him/her pulling a Bleedman and deciding "oh I want to do something else".
With that, I ask that everyone here helps me look for an artist that would be willing to do this project justice and bring it life at long last. First, once you've found and artist, contact them and ask them about it. If they seem interested, tell them to contact me and give me their contact information as well, so that I may speak with them and discuss terms and conditions. I'm dead-serious about this idea, so no joking around. I'm deeply saddened by the fact that only one artist has remained totally loyal to us, and by the drop in activity since the departure of said artists and many others.
Thanks guys,
Alicia
