Alright, so once again I don't have much to say here (other than the usual comment that I really like this week's batch of DD-worthy artwork), but I will hint that I've been thinking of doing a little something special here in the future...Something a little different...& I don't exactly know why I'm hinting at it for some reason, so I'll stop right there for now...
As for other issues, I've been a little worried that the list of links to previous editions of Mini-DDs at the bottom here has been getting pretty damn large...So does anyone here think that's a bit of a problem of sorts? And if so, are there any ideas as to what I can do? Any suggestions here would be appreciated as usual.
Alright, so with a couple of my little ramblings done with, what say we move on to the main event?
Okay, so if you don't know by now, the featured artists here each receive the Golden Fefcaine Award:
...My little prestigious token of appreciation for anyone who created some amazing, DD-worthy artwork. Plus it has a delicious milk chocolate center! And hey, if you keep up the amazing work, maybe I'll throw in a little something extra as well...Like some peanut butter mixed in with the chocolatey goodness...
Alright now, on with the show! Here's this week's Mini-DDs...
Press Start to Rock by *
brandokay is just...
Wow. There's really no other way to describe it. This is just sheer awesomeness here...A joyful, stylish, coloful, jam-packed & perfectly executed collage of rhythm gaming's biggest faces that makes you feel so excited just looking it that you can practically
hear the music in the background. I mean, it's so freaking amazing that I'm using it as the background for my Xbox 360's dashboard! Just fave this gem, dammit!! Now! No excuses!

I may honestly have to kick myself for not noticing ~
ramilescarda's gallery before. Full of colorful, creative, well-detailed, trippy & joyful pieces of art such as
Drinking the night away, this is one artist you definitely need to keep your eye on. And boozing & partying tree creatures that house little critters and are surrounded by aliens & bubbles? How can you resist a concept as twisted & eye-catching as that?

In contrast to a lot of the other anthro pieces I've featured here in the past,
Cold by =
coffinberry has a more "serious" feel to it...But whatever you think, you can't deny that this is one amazing piece of artwork. Gorgeously drawn, nice use of darkness, well-detailed, great story behind it all, sweet character designs...Once again, I could go on, but I think this astonishing baby speaks for itself.
Man On The Moon by ~
Krows is a simple piece, but one that's still wicked nonetheless. Cool character design, nicely drawn, macabre yet cartoonish style, & the usage of yellow amongst the black & white drawing is an eye-catching cherry on top. Once again, it's a simple piece, but one that you definitely have to fave. Gotta love that pose, by the way...

A delicious deviation brilliantly inspired by Russian folk art,
Infinity Stallion by *
killskerry is innovative, vibrant, well-designed, nicely drawn, & packed with a sort of "mystical" & "otherworldly" feeling that makes it all appealing. Simple yet eye-popping, this is one sweet deviation that deserves to be on an ancient tapestry just as much as it deserves to be here.
foot prince by ~
royalboiler...Colorful, stylish, innovative, nicely detailed (love the eye-pleasing, seemingly random animals & objects), well-drawn, funky & nearly surrealistic, this is one eye-catching piece of art that you need to at least take a look at. And to think, if this is just the title page, I can only imagine how sweet the rest of the story must be...
Repair-a-Robot by ~
MarshallArtsOnline...It all comes down to this: Classic board game + Sweet, cartoonish robot design + Simple yet amazing style + Great details & layout = One pretty wicked piece of work. Funny, pleasing, & eye-catching, you just can't afford to miss out on this one. Now who wants to take a shot at removing the censor bar? Huh?

Now who doesn't love a good, well-done drawing of a
Freak Monster now & then? ~
mrdynamite delivers in that area, showcasing a twisted, funny, innovative & stylish creation that's been crammed full of character & several fun details to the point where you just have to love it. Now can you really resist all of those faces, dammit? I didn't think so.
Suggested by *boum
Who doesn't love a great cartoon featuring primates as well?
King Ape by ~
MathieuBeaulieu is colorful, fun, nicely styled, well-detailed, cute, & topped off with several little nice elements. The end result is a nice & humorous cartoon definitely worth at least a peek, & the fact that it surrounds a funky urban ape definitely doesn't hurt as well.
...& that's all for this week! If you have any comments, suggestions, etc., they'd be greatly appreciated! I hope you've all liked what I've featured this week, & I'll be back next week with nine more DD-worthy works of art! Sayanora until then! ^_^
