As of late, a lot of ripping has been going on around deviantART, and even outside of deviantart. One guy that goes by the name qeegi (Outside of deviantart) has been going around ripping from a lot of people.

He had a flickr account from which he had images from the works of the following:

and at least 8 other deviants. Here's what Amy (Starfantazy) had to say:

"Ok, I think I am about to lose my mind. This guy is part of the LifeLog network...after a little research, I find I can not get to all of the artists afflicted, as he is putting them up as they are submitted to da.

No watermarks, and licenses on any he can......

But, thats just a little part of it. Apparently lifelog is connected to a very shifty company named "Creative Weblogging Inc." Search and you'll find an article located here: [link]

Frankly I am too tired to go through it anymore...I am too sickened to even post anything further about this...so, if anyone wants to, please do post a news/forum thread...not sure which to do atm.

As I looked through QeeGi's lifelog photo's I even noticed some images that were made by others on here.

Something will have to be done to stop this guy from stealing, I have gone through all of the images on his lifelog and contacted all artists that I could find a piece for about this.

All of their images are copyright, for those that don't know, anything that someone writes, draws, makes, etc. is automatically copyright to them, it's how the copyright act works. This means that it is an offense to claim that text/images/music/words/etc. as your own without written consent from the original owner.
