Angel Yates (A.K.A. Inqy) was one of the greatest artists on DA. She had her whole life ahead of her with her Husband and daughter. But for currently unknown reasons, Angel Yates will never be given the chance to reach her full potential.

It's funny how this "favourite" thing works. We fav things we adore, from people we know are talented, and friends who we have a special connection with as we watch them grow artistically. Every favourite we make is important, is beautiful, is special and worth attention. Some leave imprints on your mind and in your heart. The great part of it all is that with every favourite, we're hold that person in special regard, or use that favourite to symbolise something.
What makes you pic something to "fav"? For me it's a variety of things that work today. Often it can be something that I can relate to in life that has been perfectly executed in visual (and sometimes written) form. Sometimes it's something I've seen that I feel a dev-friend has accomplished that stands out and makes me smile. Every now and then I find something that I connect with on a darker but very real level that leaves me speachless.
Deviantart is a special place and so to celebrate this "favin'" process of ours, I'm doing this showcase dedicated to just some of my favourites ... and spread the love because in this place in space of ours, we're all connected through great art! ~E.
We want to know what love means to you!

In response to new features: The dA community stands up to preserve itself and deviously denies further separation between general members and subscribers. Gift givers express dislike for violation of their privacy.
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
A horror photography art challenge to inspire the darker side of your creativity. This is a fun community project, not a contest, so its open to absolutely everyone regardless of dA status or skill/experience level. Click through to find out how you can join in...
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
