A: Because according to FAQ #696: How does deviantART comply with COPPA? , you need to be at least 13 years of age to have a dA account.
Q: Why is no photography featured?
A: I love looking at photography, but I'm more into painting and drawing.
Q: How do you find all those works?
A: Hardcore dA browsing.
Q: Why is there so much anime?
A: A lot of young people love to draw in anime style. I picked the works that happened to be best in technique and skill
