I decided that, instead of doing individual features every week in my journal, doing one big one with all my friends would be a good idea! Check it out to see if you are featured here and to see some great artists you should definatly check out.
Angel Yates (A.K.A. Inqy) was one of the greatest artists on DA. She had her whole life ahead of her with her Husband and daughter. But for currently unknown reasons, Angel Yates will never be given the chance to reach her full potential.
I have featured some artists whose art didn't get enough attention, on other words you can say they are not known enough yet. You may never seen their art .. but You will be surprised by the quality you will see of uncovered artists.
Make a Difference aims to do exactly that. This series of articles will hopefully make a difference to you as well as the artists featured. Just by giving one minute of your time to write constructive comments, favourites and even watches will make a difference to these artists. Click here to make a difference today!
With this feature series I hope to shed some light on this amazing planet and the photographers who roam it one continent at a time starting with the cradle of life: Africa.
In the globalized society we all live in it is amazing how little we actually know about the rest of mother earth. You might think its not important to know the capital of Uganda or the president of South Africa but fact is that involvement in the world will not only broaden your horizons and tickle you travel desire but it will give you a sympathy for the people on the other side of life and maybe even get you out of your chair. A great side effect is that you might realize how beautiful and diverse a planet we inhabit and how well worth a fight it is.
Travelphotography is an overlooked genre here on dA which isnt strange since its a composite of every genre imaginable with the only gathering touch being that its taken somewhere that isnt home, wich makes it hard to look up. Nevertheless it churns out some of the most inspirational, touching and beautiful images there is.
If you wanna know more about Africa as a continent check out: [link]
And this anti-boredom geography game is a fun way of testing your knowledge or learning something new: [link]
Remember to spread some love to the photographers
If you have or know of an image of Africa ive left out feel free to post a thumb in your reply.
The next continent ill be illuminating will be South America so please send me a note if you have any suggestions for Photos
haha woups thats what i thought would be cool if you could it would make it a bit more interactive but hey you cant have everything right Thanks for the heads up!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
