Printmaking Series Two - Intaglio Printing II

^stigmatattoo:iconstigmatattoo: reports, July 12
Printmaking produces images with visual qualities that are very different from those obtained through drawing or painting directly, and each technique adds its own peculiarities to the way each piece is conceived. However, with its odd and alchemical combinations of unusual materials, specific tools and enormous machines, Printmaking is often a strange and foreign territory even for artists accustomed to studio work on other disciplines.

Watercolor art can be hard to find on DA, since the medium lacks its own designated section. Here’s a sampling of some of the best watercolors I’ve found on this site.

Unseen Animal Artists Vol. 6

~skullmage550:iconskullmage550: reports, June 3, 2007
Have you ever browsed around the animal section in paintings or drawings? I bet a lot of you have not! I don’t know why you people are not looking through it because there are a lot of great unseen animal art out there. Since not many people are looking through all of the great animal drawings and paintings, I thought I would bring some of the good ones to you!

star: All of the artists have allowed me to use their work in my news entry. I would like to thank all of the artists, if they had not gave me permission, there would be no article! :( :star:

:bulletred: We will start off with twenty unseen but great animal paintings! I hope you like them, please feel free to comment on and/or favorite them. :painter:

:bulletred: Next are the twenty unseen but great animal drawings! I hope you like them, please feel free to comment on and/or favorite them.

:bulletred: Finally, we are now to the stock once again. Every two months I am going to be putting five or six stock images of animals. This is just to maybe help some artists with something to draw. You can submit stock photos too, just like drawings and paintings but only every two months. I hope you like them, please feel free to comment on and/or favorite them.

:star: Thank you to all the artists, you have great work and keep up the good job. Thank you to everyone who comments, puts in a piece of art that they think should be featured, and to everyone who favorites the article! :star:

:bulletblue: This is the sixth in the series. There is going to be a new one every month. If you have any good animal painting or drawings please post them in here. :) WAIT! They just don’t have to be yours! :D If you seen someone’s that you really like and think it should be featured and it is unseen, post it here and it may be featured in the next issue! Again thank you to everyone who gave art and let me post their art! :D

Any little song that you know
