Camera, any kind of shitty or pro, as long as you can get photo with it ...from yourself or a friend.

I'am the judge. I may ask opinion about certain things from my friends but the final decision is made by me.

IMAGE/JUDGING CRITERIONS:
Person in that image can be you or your friend, mom or any person you can foto and is fotoed for this competition. No limitations in any way just full face shown. But other tips to get better standing on competiton. And more surely win a drawing. Dont cut the picture from your fore head, or any other critical point. It can be full shot from your body. So it doesn't have to be face shot. I like interesting people so make yourself look interesting... funny costume or make-up, the enviroment can be special... clothing is something unique or special... MAKE IT POP FROM THE POP. So it doesn't have to be normal you... it can be full color or black & white B&W is better for me...
and the judging will happen with in 2 weeks after the dead-line expires.(if im not totally covered with work)

all i was saying was that he should get other sponsors involved, otherwise, no one would really take notice of it...and you can try to say its not a self promotional thing, but show me one link to one other person.
i was trying to help by saying, get some others involved and whatnot. and make another news article when he did so, but he doesnt want to even take that advice and instead calls me a "dummy", which i tell you, hurt my feelings really bad....sarcasm

Why can't a contest be run by only one person, some of us aren't popular enough to have vast amounts of people donate cash/subscription prizes, some of us have to make do with our own art and hope that they or the theme are good enough to generate entries.

im not rich by any means...and i hope you all the best. i can barely get my own account to be subscribed and im not popular as some others. if there was more people involved to sponsor, thered also be more publicity, so why attack me for trying to help? geez...don't take my advice, it wont hurt my feelings. but, i will say lashing out at me wont help your cause very much...it just shows that the contest is being run by people who are overly emotional and unable to take advice, which you see as constructive criticism. im not going to reply any more. ive wasted enough time trying to help and being lashed out at by a couple of people who are unwilling to move forward, take the opinion, which im allowed to have, and learn from for in the future.

The idea that a contest is not a contest unless its got prizes from more than one person is silly, a contest is a contest no matter how it is arranged. Its only not a contest if the result is fixed before it began or there was only one entry. I'm not saying the idea of getting donations is stupid, it would be fabulous to be able to get them but not everyone can but it doesn't mean we aren't allowed to announce are contests just the same.
And I object greatly to what you have just inferred about me given I'm the only other commenter. I'm not stupid or stubborn, I'm just realistic and I also felt this contest needed defending for it is a wonderfully original theme.
I'm not running this contest anyway, I just faved it because I like it and want to enter. My contest was about dragons and frogs and got about 50 entries (36 news faves and 83 news comments) before the other person donated prizes which proves that contests run by only one person can be popular.
