i have a little problem with your statement:

( please note I only feature works that are actually IN the illustration category - so place them in there to get a chance to be featured !)

you see, here you are saying that in order to be featured they should place their artwork into that category. if you are promoting this gallery you should promote it correctly and say what should go into this gallery, not that they should put their artwork into this gallery in order to be featured. in my opinion it gives a false sense of security to artists, and that even though that statement is small, i think it could effect misplacements in the gallery(ies) featured. perhaps next issue you can talk about what should go into this gallery as well as show examples of brilliant pieces from the gallery, popular or not. with this next article you could also show the regular features.

just a suggestion though.

i do follow your features, and i enjoy them very much so i want these articles to be as productive as possible. if you want some more ideas you can always contact me. keep them up.
