Greetings Comrades!

It brings us great pleasure to introduce to the entire deviantART community the first CPDA, or Communist Party of DeviantART, design contest.

No matter what your political affiliation, you are invited to participate in this contest for a variety of donated prizes. Thanks go out to the organizer of this contest, a Communist-friendly deviantART staff member.

The Objective
Your goal is to create a persuasive, inventive, and professional poster for the CPDA to use on its home page, *communism. An example of a previous poster has been provided below to help inspire you:



The Rules
Contest entrants must follow a strict set of rules for the poster to be approved and reviewed.

• Entries must be downloadable in 300 DPI PSD/EPS/AI files via a Deviation submission.


• Entries must be in CYMK color formating.


• Entries are preferred to be in this size format (inches): 8x12, 16x24, 24x36. Larger is better!


• Entries must be noted to the account, *communism, with the note title "CPDA Contest Entry".


• Entries must be received by 3 July 2007, Pacific Standard Time.


• Entries must contain the CPDA logo, available in 300 DPI PSD format here: [link]


• Entries are accepted from all members of deviantART.

The Prizes
1ST PLACE WINNER: 1 Year Subscription to deviantART, their work uploaded to the CPDA gallery with full credit given to the artist

2ND PLACE WINNER: 3 Month Subscription to deviantART, their work uploaded to the CPDA gallery with full credit given to the artist

3RD PLACE WINNER: 1 Month Subscription to deviantART, their work uploaded to the CPDA gallery with full credit given to the artist

Other Information
Entries will judged by the staff of the CPDA on July 3rd, 2007 and winners will be announced on the deviantART page in both a news article and on the main CPDA page.
