I've done some digging into the roots of this club to find out what drew people to it in it's former days. What did I find? Brilliant, dedicated people who shared the dream of our club's founder, *sheepofsean. Though it would appear that he has been absent from deviantART for some time, in his final journal entry, he proudly promoted his club and the people who made it possible.

It's time to put the people back in control of the community with an open competition in the vein of our founder's original vision!

Here are the Rules!
We are looking for visual works of art that have been inspired by song lyrics. (If you don't know what we mean, check out some of our club's early deviations! But don't copy; be creative and do something original!)
To submit an entry, send us a note entitled "Contest Submission." Or make it a lot easier on yourself and just click this link!
In the body of the note, include a link to the contest entry.
Unless we are noted to the contrary, all entries will be featured in our gallery and the winning entry will be posted as our page's featured deviation!
How will we pick the winner? We won't! YOU will! At the conclusion of the contest we will post the entries and have a poll where YOU will chose the best entry!

So go to it! Open your heart and mind to the music like it's creators may or may not have intended! We look forward to each and every one of your submissions!
