Making a corset isn't easy. There are a lot of different measurements, methods, and even shapes to consider. They are time consuming and hard to learn to make, and yet when you are done there is a sense of accomplishment. If you wear one correctly, it should not hurt you. Despite its stigma, the corset is a thing of beauty that today's woman is slowly turning back to after nearly a century of absence.

On the internet you cannot see the fine weave of the brocade, the decorative embroidery up close, you cannot feel the boning and twill tape built into its structure.
