IX Tolk Folk - the Fall of Gondolin

If you are going to be in South West Poland area in July or live in the area make sure you'll take a part in the IX Tolk Folk - JRRT fans convention, Bielawa 12-15 VII 2007.

Gondolin - the hidden city of King Turgon of the Noldor described in the
Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien. It was located in the Tumladen Valley surrounded by the Encircling Mountains and was guarded by the Eagles of Manwë. There was only one secret entrance, fortified by the Seven Gates, leading to the hidden city. Envy, will of possession, and betrayal caused the fall of Gondolin - the secret way had been given away, and Melkor’s armies supported by dragons and balrogs destroyed the city.

You can have the opportunity to reinact this story… Fight for Gondolin! The topic of the IX Tolk Folk JRRT Fans Convention is an open-area performance, "The Fall of Gondolin".
Anybody can take part in it. The organizer secures the most part of costumes and props.
