Well this is the Last Manga/Anime newsletter to be published by me. Watch for the next newsletter to come from whoever is picked for the new Gallery Director positions. I have moved on to become the Traditional art gallery director. I know as trufax that the new GD is going to be fantastic, because I trust $Moonbeam13's abilities to pick great people to fill these roles. I hope that for the time I was in Manga/anime I served you well, and I hope that some of you can still count on me in Trad as well For those of you that devwatch me, or would like to, i will be sure to give a good introduction to the people replacing me in Manga/anime in my journal once they come along so you can give them a proper Deviant howdy! I have done my best to make it easy for the new GD's to pick up and carry on any part of whati have already setup if they choose to so with any luck these newsletter will continue on! Thanks for all you have done!

get involved

`lazybutt and =DailyDeviants need helpers to round up some Manga/anime, Anthro, and Cartoons&comics work to feature. You can read about it here. Its a great opportunity for people who want to be more involved in the community, but aren't sure how to take that first step.

`seniormentors started recently, and it was such a big hit! I've got myself a Mentee already! Here are some non senior related help groups you can get involved in -to help, or to be helped- if this new project has inspired you
~helpmyart is a new club inspired by the need to help other artists with their art. They have positions availiable for helpers, and lots of room for people needing help. check them out!!
=xaxona, `misskittyoooo, =RockGirl1582, and I all work on a club called the *artworkshop the summer is seeing some big additions and addons to it. I get lots and lots of people asking me to personally help with thier art, and I will, if you go to the art workshop! Please dont send me notes to my ^guruubii account for help. I get too many notes to be able to give you the attention you need right away. All the girls in that project are qualified to help
=xaxona also opened up a *FictionWorkshop for writers!

*SongofRuin is holding a "Most creative couples" contest. Deadline is August 5th

=starflower135 is running a Tsubasa Chronicles Fanart Contest with cool prizes of markers, features and art! The deadline is August 17th!

*comically-yours is having a comic contest for script writers and comic artists! Deadline is July 10th!

~RianaBlackRoseis holding a comic contest, you draw a comic based off an excerpt of writing Deadline july 31

=PurpelBlur is holding round 2 of the every famous Imagination expanded contest the deadline is August 26th!

The Manga/Anime mini contest deadline is still the 29th! Get your entries into =RockGirl1582!!! The contest will be posted on the 30th as sceduled
