Hmm... Well, the math/science guy in me says you should pick a spot that's the "center of gravity". Or, find a place that's closest to the majoirty of the people you want to invite. However, for little old me in the middle of nowhere, that might mean it'd be hard for me to attend.

No idea if I would go, but I think if you're going to do it, set it up in the (near) centre of the state. Like Bloomington or Springfield; both of those are right on the I-55 and can be easily accessed from those in the North (Chicago), East (Champaign & Urbana), South (East St. Louis / Carbondale / etc), and West (Macomb / Quincy).

That's just my two cents on the idea, but I like I said, I don't know probably wouldn't. *dons recluse cape*
