Now, onto details.

What is this contest?
This is a web design contest. Meant purely for design, coding and slicing is not necessary, so don't worry.
We are looking for the top site design for a new Art Pack website. Now, what is required you ask? Just read on, we have a section for what is needed.

Simply put, you create a lovely looking site design, We (Myself and a select few) will decide the final design, You send us the psd, we send you a year subscription (again, or the money equivalent).



What's the contest for?
The contest, again, is for a new ArtPack website. Creative-Birth. We've been around for a little while, site and everything. However, we have yet to get a final and complete site design. We're onto our third artpack right now. You can check out the deviant gallery at ~creative-birth. Your winning design will be used for our main website, where you're certain to gain lots of publicity (as well as a year subscription).



Now, what's needed on the template?
Alright, I'm just going to list them off, things we need on your template.

o Visual appeal, and graphic design quality. Make it pretty and graphic-y, Ok?
o Main Navigation. Quite simply, a set of four or five links, preferably tabs, since they're trendy.
o Sub navigation. A smaller set of links, multiples of them. Menus should be as follows: Exhibitions, Resources, Tutorials, Forums (latest posts and whatnot), Partner sites, and it should be left open to add more mini-menus.
o Sub Content Boxes. Should be placed somewhat opposite of the sub navigation. Content should include: Exhibition Highlights, Popular Members, Affiliates, again, should be left open for expansion.
o Main content. Basically, news updates on the first page, content on other pages, etc. Should be easy to read, and expandable again, with multiple sections.
o Banner. Should be fair sized. I plan on having Member Interviews/Spotlight tucked away in there somewhere. Try adding it in?
o Creative-Birth Logo, and Sitename. Somewhere you should have our logo (download here [link] THIS IS ONLY FOR CONTEST USE, NOT ALLOWED FOR USE OUTSIDE OF THIS CONTEST.) and a main type saying Creative-Birth towards the top.
o Trendy Background. Should be quite appealing. Either stretched background with bars, or nice tiling floral patterns. Be unique with this part.
o Should Be Unique. The template can be a pre-made template (that you yourself made, without any outside help) that was edited for creative-births purpose. Otherwise, templates should be 100% unique and created by you (excluding preview images so long as proper credit is given).




Contest Rules
1. All designs must be 100% done by you, no outside help, or 'urchased' psd's.
2. Do not submit your design to our contest unless you are 100% willing to donate your psd to our cause. If you don't want to give up your design, don't enter.
3. No Collaborations. As good as some of you may be together, the Subscription goes to one person, therefore one person may enter at a time.
4. You are allowed to enter more then one design.
5. Designs must be graphically appealing, as well as aesthetic. Do not send in any web2.0 empty space bullshit. Make it fancy.
6. Contest Deadline is June 15th.
7. Your Submission can be removed, excluded, or rejected at any time without your notice.
8. Rules may be changed, edited, revised, rewritten, removed or added at any given time without your notice.
9. No outside factors will affect our decisions. Our groups decision is final, you may not disagree or argue back.




How To Submit Your Template!
This parts easy.

1. Upload your template preview to DeviantArt.com.
2. Once uploaded, send a link to your deviation in a note to either ~alias-unr or ~creative-birth with the title "Contest Submission."
3. Remember, your contest submission has not been accepted until you receive a reply. Please give approximately 3Days before sending your note again.
