Costumes use to be viewed as something a child or adult would wear for Halloween or a New Years event, now with Anime and Manga leading its way into America. Cosplay (a combination of the word Costume and play) is being introduced into the Convention, photography, and everyday life scene, and has for some time now with a bolder group of all ages.

With Anime, Manga, and lets not forget the video game scene such as Final fantasy and Zelda, The growing popularity inspiring Creativity and imagination for all the bases of the cosplays. even inspiring a cosplay magazine for the entire fanbase by the fanbase: Anicoz

Many will tell you the true beauty of the cosplay does not lay within the costume but the creativity and Passion of the creator and wearer.

But cosplay is not just throwing the outfit on and going to a convention or photoshoot. Cosplays, props, and overall preparations have been known to take weeks and hours out at a time to create with frustration, money, and most of all Love for what we do.

The end result and the fun had is what truly counts in the end.

With that said as a cosplayer and Convention attendee myself, lets show a lil love to all the hard working and loving cosplayers/costumers/photographers and The art that is Cosplay a like. all The Good, Evil, Halfed, and just plain silly.
