If you want this category back, then please this article, and let’s show the administrator’s of DA just how many deviant’s are devoted to bringing this category back!!!

Months ago the ”Macro” category mysteriously disappeared off of Deviant Art, many were annoyed, shocked and furious to say the least. So why did DA decide to take away an extremely popular category? And more importantly…what other categories will they take away next????!?? Macro photography deserves it’s own category, it is in a class of it’s own! Macro photography let’s us view the world differently, and allows us to see things like we’ve never seen before! After being introduced to macro photography, my vision of the world began to transform. It’s important that macro photography doesn’t just blend into the rest of DA, it needs it’s own category! So for the sake of macro let’s make a stand. Let’s try to shed light on how important macro photography is to us!
