Contact sheets would, without a doubt, have to be one of the most forgotten forms of art ever. For us photographers who work in the darkroom, reviving the lost art of true photography, we always use them, but often don't take time out of our routine to example the raw beauty they portray. What Are Contact Sheets?

Wikipedia defines a contact sheet as:

"...a reference print of film negatives produced by laying negatives directly on print paper (usually pressed together under glass) and then exposing the paper to light, resulting in an actual-size print of the negative strip including the frame numbers which appear along the edge of the film stock."
