Welcome! This is the first edition of the Monthly newsletter brought to you by the Traditional art Gallery!
In this newsletter we will keep updates, news, contests and everything under the sun related to the Traditional art gallery by each GD. There is a Calendar available for you to view any events that are related to the Traditional art gallery. this includes contests, featured chats, events on and off DA. Its a little sparse now, but with your help we can have a full calendar of events.

Gallery status

Since the New Gallery directors have been put in place, they have done a great job keeping the Report Desk cleaned out, and working within the actual galleries cleaning out miscats. Personally I have been working on the animations category, as they suffered from a huge amount of neglect for a long time. I've done my best to feature as many films as DD's as is possible.

There are no updates from the other GD's at this time. Feel free to read their AR newsletter updates:

Definitions/ Terminology:

Miscat - Short for Mis categorized Deviation. A deviation that has been placed in the wrong category/gallery

Report desk - This is a list of all the reports that are filed as being "misplacements" aka miscats. When you report a deviation please make sure you pick the correct category. Its very frustrating to get Copyright Violations reported as Miscats.

GD - Short for Gallery Director
