Welcome to the first newsletter on world wide devMEETs! If you don't know what *
devmeet is, it is an account dedicated to promoting devMEETs around the world. Our journal lists upcoming and recent devMEETs as we hear about them. We are also working on putting together a comprehensive FAQ on everything about devMEETs, from what they are to suggestions on how to organize them. A devMEET Mag is also in the works, but until we've got that sorted out, some reviews on recent devMEETs will be provided with our twice monthly newsletter.
Upcoming devMEETs:
Note: Information provided is not guaranteed to be correct, accurate and/or complete, as devMEETs can be planned and canceled with little to no notice. Please do not get annoyed if this newsletter doesn't list your devMEET; once posted, we cannot update the article.

Recent devMEETs Highlights:
We're going to highlight three devMEETs this newsletter, the Austin, TX, Melbourne, Australia, and the Calgary, AB devMEETs.
June 23rd, 2007:
Austin, TX, USA
News article:
First Annual Texas DevMeet
This is a great news article on the devMEET, providing a good description of how things went and including many pictures. Check out the adorable mini-deviant that belongs to =caveatLECTOR towards the end of the article. Many of the attendees submitted devMEET pictures to their galleries/scraps, so take a swing through a few to see some more pictures.
July 11th, 2007:
Melbourne, Australia
Journal:
Impromptu Aftermath
Unlike the Austin devMEET, the Melbourne meet was a much quieter and low-key event, but the deviants enjoyed themselves just as much. In the words of `budgieishere, "... it was fantastic seeing a whole range of new faces at the meet. It's also very refreshing seeing some more deviants who are enthusiastic about having more meets in the area." That is the kind of attitude you want to have and that you want to see from devMEET attendees, no matter the size of the devMEET.
July 7th, 2007:
Calgary, AB, Canada
Journal:
Calgary Meet #7 - Good times had by all!
These guys met up in a park, had some food and painted a big mural! Sounds like entertainment
to me.

It's a simple question, Doctor: If the moon was made of ribs, would you eat it?! It's not rocket science; answer yes so we can move on.
Next stop: Ohio.
