Well, we're halfway home!!! The contest runs until July 31st... for those of you that aren't familiar with the contest here's the rundown...
Prizes
- 1st place : $250 USD
- 2nd place : $100 USD
- 3rd place : $50 USD
Deadline: July 31st.
Rules:
1) Medias allowed: Photography. No collages or "put together" images. Manipulation is allowed but the frame has to be one click of the shutter with no additional images pasted into the frame.
2) 2 entries max per deviant!
3) All entries must be created between July 1st and July 30th. Images created prior to July 1st will be disqualified.
4) Any pornography or hateful images will be removed from the competition.
Important: Winners will be required to provide the original shot, out of the camera for authentication of shutter actuation date and authenticity by the exif data. If you do not have this you will be disqualified and the prize will go to the next person in line. No exceptions!!!
Judging criteria: All images will be judged for emotional content and impact first. Technical aspects will be incorporated into the judging process but not as heavily weighted as the feeling generated by the image. Don’t think shooting a shot the way *Davenit does will gain you an advantage, it won’t. He doesn't like 95% of his images so you’d be better off shooting something different.
To enter the contest you must submit your entry into contests & projects -> contests -> 2007 -> create a feeling
We would also appreciate a link to the contest in the image description so people can check out what’s going on.

The winners will be announced on August 8th. Paypal is the prefered payment method but if that is unavailable to the winners a US postal money order will be aquired and shipped to an address supplied. Payment will be made no later than August 15th.
