This is my first contest ever so bare with me. Here's the facts.

Theme: Egypt and Cleopatra. Together. Not seperate. You can't have an entry with solely Cleopatra or solely Egypt. So for example you could place an entry with Cleopatra and an Egyptian theme behind her. The pyramids and the Sphinx could be in it as well. You know, something like that.

Now, the reason why. I am looking for more Egyptian and Cleopatra pictures that I can keep. But unfortunately I can't find any. All the ones that I have found I'm not allowed to have or are just plain nasty. So I thought maybe I could use the winning entry as a new dA ID or something.

Dates: Dates are an important thing when dealing with contests. So here they are. It starts now and ends September 1. The judges have until September 4 to send me their decisions. The winners will be posted by September 8.

Rules: These are pretty simple. You MUST do some research on both Egypt and Cleopatra. I want these pictures to be as accurate as possible. You MUST credit all stock, etc. that you use. Entries without proper crediting will not be allowed. All entries not within the guidelines will be eliminated and noted to the artist to correct for re-entry. I want to give everyone a chance but the rules have to be followed. I really wanna see what everyone can come up with. The most important thing is to have fun in what you are doing. Most medias are accepted. That means photomanips, drawings, digital, 3D, animation, flash animation and anime are accepted. Please no photography. Remember this is for a new dA ID for me to keep. All entries must be noted to me and stated in the description a link for my contest. I wish not to be harsh, a bitch or mean. I just wish to follow all of dA's guidelines and rules. Please only enter one time. I wish to be fair to all contestants by giving everyone a fair chance at winning. Also, please in your description give a description about your piece, proving that you have done some sort of research. Most of all, have fun with your work.
