deviantART, in collaboration with
Avril Lavigne, proudly brings you the
Avril Lavigne T-Shirt Design Contest! Avril is looking for a t-shirt design to celebrate her new album The Best Damn Thing, and she wants to see if YOU have any ideas.
This contest is open to deviantART members in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, and South Korea. Due to legal restrictions, the contest is closed to other countries.
All you have to do is create a new design for Avril (please see below for full contest guidelines). The design will be used for a t-shirt, and may also be used for a hoody as well. Once the submission period ends, the top 20 designs will be chosen by
Artwerks Designs, a design firm specializing in print, clothing and multimedia design for the entertainment industry. Artwerks has designated a team of professional designers to look at all of the submissions for the contest, and chose their top 20 picks based on originality, creativity, and content.
deviantART members and Avril fans can then vote on their favorite designs from the top 20, which will be presented to Avril, and she will choose the winner who will receive the grand prize! There will also be six runner-up winners.
You can access high-resolution images and designs from Avril's latest album
here. Feel free to use these in your designs. But the sky is the limit! You can base your design off of Avril's current art, or go in a completely different direction. We only ask that you avoid use images or designs from any of Avril's albums other than The Best Damn Thing.

Devious Comments
Isn't it a bit mean to give 2nd and 3rd place t-shirts of the design that beat theirs?
Good luck to people who are gonna enter
