In honor of dA Loving Day, (see article here [link]) =The-Canon-Club is hosting a contest. It will be open to all of deviantART! The subject is,“Feel the Love.” This is wide open to interpretation, and can range across all subject matters. However, your entry must be a photograph.

All submissions are due on August 8th by 11:59 pm GMT. See here for the current time [link] . All qualifying entries will be posted immediately on the =The-Canon-Club journal for voting. Or go into "Community Projects > Events > Community Projects > dA Loving Day > Feel the Love - canon club" category to view them beforehand. At that time we will begin accepting votes via note. The contest will close and winners announced on August 16th at midnight GMT. Entries must be no older than July 11, 2007.

Prizes
1st Place
-1 year's subscription.
-3 months give-away subscription.
-1 print (any) from =IaiaRose’s gallery.
-1 print from *Wikidly's gallery (donated by *Wikidly)
-Inclusion in =The-Canon-Club gallery. (Sorry, members only).
-Feature of winner’s gallery in journals for 1 month.

2nd Place

Rules

-This contest is open to everyone on deviantART.
-Limited to one entry per person.
-It must follow the theme, “Feel the love.”
-Only Photography allowed, film or digital. All other mediums will be excluded.
-You may use previously posted work, but it must not be older than July 11, 2007.
-No voting for your own deviation.
-It must be your own work. Use of stock or other people’s shots will be ignored and reported to the proper owner. You will be barred from all future contests and membership in the group.
-Only one winner will be selected for each place. Any ties will be subject to a revote. If there is still a tie, the winner will be selected by =IaiaRose and two other judges.
-All entries must be submitted by August 8th 11:59 pm GMT. No exceptions.
-The description must say, "Entry for the 'Feel the Love' =The-Canon-Club Contest" and link to this news article or this journal entry [link] .
-Submitted work must contain this in the description: “***I give permissions for all Mods in the "dA Loving Day" Community Project to use image for this event only.***”
-Work will be submitted into the deviant category under Community Projects > Events > Community Projects > dA Loving Day > Feel the Love - canon club.
-If we do not get at least three entries, the contest will be canceled and the entrants put into the club gallery.
