Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
The Week 2 article is here! There were some delays in finalising the number of responses to last week's activity but it's all been sorted out, thank you for your patience!
On deviantART for the past 3 years (if not longer), the Holiday Wish List Project has shown deviants that we are a family, and even without directly knowing one another we can share happiness. Without spending a penny, you can make someone's holiday who may not have one otherwise.

Do you want to play Photoshop Tennis, but you haven't joined the PDG? Go right on ahead and play!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PDG:
The PDG is a living, breathing illustrated dream journal. Group members write dreams in the Dream Journal and submit dream art in the PDG ThumbShare Forum. We hold contests and play games too!
The PDG Thumbshare forum is the best place to add dream art to the Illustrated Dream Journal!
Step 1. REQUEST MEMBERSHIP AND RETURN
Join the PDG in the Membership Center [link] Then, return here to add your art to the PDG.
Add your dream-related art to the PDG ThumbShare Forum, including thumbnails of your dream-related art.
LIMITS:
There is no thumbnail limit, however please limit yourself to dream illustrations, and dream-related art. Also, avoid posting images with no explanations.
Avoid writing or pasting all of your dreams in the PDG Thumbshare Forum. That's what the PDG Dream Journal is for.
We have a pretty loose interpretation of dream art. It includes fiction and fantasy, so have fun!
We know there a few clubs out there now supporting this challenge.
However, many of those clubs are inactive or having troubles. So, we decided to create an 100 themes challenge club that supports the original list AND 4 other variations meaning we should have something for everybody.
For those who don't know, allow me to explain.
The 100 Themes Challenge is a project where you are given a list of 100 words/themes to create pieces on up untill you complete the whole list. And there is no time limit! Its a good job because this can take ages to complete. Not a very good challenge for the impatient I must admit. And you can complete this challenge in whatever medium you want. That includes poetry and prose. You don't have to stick to one medium throughout. You use whatever you like and you don't have to do the list in order either!
And, if you had fun completing it the first time, you can go try another variation and try another list all over again!
Once you have completed the list, you can note us and you will be listed in our hall of fame.
Some of you may have already started the challenge. You can check in our journal to see if we have the list variation that matches the one you are completing. We have the most popular list to 4 other variations by members here on deviantART.
This challenge is a great way to try and get yourself out of a spin of art block or give you some new ideas for things to work on.
So! We hope you will join the challenge if you haven't already and share your work with us.
I love these things. The 100 Themes Challenge is great fun. ^_^

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community. With a positive attitude and a resourceful mind, you can always find him providing support and encouragement to those in need. Always looking for ways in which he can get more involved in our community, John's positive presence is to be aspired to. A well respected poet, John is a must-have on your deviantWATCH to make sure that you don't miss out on your dose of community inspiration. It's with great pleasure that the Deviousness Award for November 2009 goes to... Read More
