They're also indicative of weak writing ... but why? This article covers why adverbs are evil and what you can do to avoid using them.

In the ongoing effort to support Back to Basics month, this article attempts to provide a brief overview for writers struggling to find their voice.
Do you lie, or lay? Is it laying or lying? This article, in keeping with the Back to Basics theme for August, takes a brief look at using "Lie" vs. "Lay" in prose.

I can't believe so many artists dedicate their efforts and time to create authentic works of art for us to USE freely! In the world of 3D stocks [ most of it unknown to the photomanipulators ] you can find truly inspiring fantasy and surreal elements that could never be captured by a regular camera. And the best part is that most of them come in a transparent background, so we can simply click and drag onto our work. How fun, fast and easy is that?
A former volunteer with the Artist Relations team, `kuschelirmel has always been a wonderful role model within the community.
With a vibrant and eclectic gallery that would make anyone proud, her dedication to providing informative and easy to follow tutorials, journal CSS, and inspirational stock is clearly long overdue for recognition.
