reports, 2d 1h agoInfluenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

I really appreciate you guys taking the time to come over and show me that fantastic work.
I'd like to let you know that I do read all suggestions I get and look at all links you send me, and I even have a look at your galleries too to see if I can find something I like. SO keep them coming!
On that note I would like to ask that you please make sure you are sending fanart to the proper gallery director.
Fanart goes to ^animator, even if it's in the comics gallery. She'll deal with the category situation when she looks at the suggestions. Alright?
If you are still confused about which gallery to send it to here is a list of the gallery directors and which gallery they direct.
FAQ #18: Who selects the Daily Deviation and how is it chosen?
If you have any questions regarding what fanart is and what belongs in the fanart gallery a good person to ask is ^animator your friendly neighborhood fanart Gallery Director!
We will have some articles soon to help clear up the confusion with Fanart once and for all.
If you are going to the San Diego Comic con keep an eye out for a dwarf with an axe because ^GH-MoNGo and plenty of other DA staffers are going to be there for the Saturday Devmeet!I only wish I could go as well!
Have fun everyone and make sure you share your stories and pictures!
We are getting closer to setting up some fun challenges for all you comic artists! Make sure you watch for informative journals! There are often fun little things you can do to help out and some great opportunities to get involved in our projects personally, So keep a sharp eye out!
After the comic con we'll really get blasting on them!
If you have a comic related contest or project please share them with your comic GD's (Gallery Directors) so that we can pimp them out for you and get the community involved!
In case you missed it, the "original single panels" gallery has been renamed to "pages". It makes sense now
Also the issue with missing Gallery descriptions is still in the works and Miscats are an ongoing battle.
On the subject of miscats (mis-categorized deviations) it would be really helpful if you guys would help us out by reporting miscats. I would be so happy to see pages of miscats in the report desk because I know those miscats are out there, but I can't see them all by just browsing. Please help us out!
