Welcome to Anthro Artists of DA!

In this weekly newsletter, we feature all of the anthro artists of DA, as well as artists who mostly draw animals and other strange mix of creatures! In each issue, there will be four lucky artists who get themselves a feature along with previews to six of their best works listed under their names!

Definition of Anthro-
Anthro (or Anthropomorphism) is the attribution of uniquely human characteristics and qualities to:
-animals
-inanimate objects
-natural phenomena (ex: Viruses, sickness, disease, weather… )
-supernatural phenomena (ex: Ghosts, spirits, magic, spells… )

Anthropomorphized animals (or furries to most people) are the most common anthro forms, but who’s to say there’s an anthro machine (cyborgs and androids) or anthro plant out there?

So yes, we will also feature those who do anthros other than furries, as long as it fits the true classification of anthro.

Notice: We need more anthro artists!!

-An anthro artist (remember, anthro means an object, plant, or animal given human characteristics, so anthro toasters, anthro flowers, and even anthro viruses are perfectly okay!)
-An artist who mostly draws anthro (goes to those who do not classify themselves as anthro artists, yet deal with anthros mostly)
-An artist who draws mostly animals
or
-An artist who mostly draws strange and fantastic creatures (existing fantasy creatures, such as dragons, basilisks, griffons, mermaids, etc. are okay)

or if you know any of the listed artist types who you feel deserves some attention, please visit ~GuardianSurzsha and leave her a note with a link to the artist’s account, and an explanation to why they deserve to be featured in the next issue. And don’t worry if you are asking to get a feature for yourself! It is perfectly okay! Remember, only four lucky artists will be featured each week. So hurry up!
