Griffpets Contest

Griffpets are pets with griffon/gryphon elements. Mostly a breed of cat, dog, rat, fish, lizard, etc. (animals that are legal pets you can own) with any type of bird beak, feather wings and feathers on its tail if it has one. Here are some example of Griffpets:

For this contest it is your turn to design a breed of Griffpet. Be creative and imaginative. Contest ends September 1st 2007. And judging will start after that date.

RULES:

1. The griffpet must have a beak, wings, and some feathers on its tail if it has a tail. The animal that you mix with a bird must be an animal that is legally can be a pet like dogs, cats, rats, fish, lizards, small pigs, etc. No horses because that would be a hippogriff. The bird part can be based off any species of bird.
2. Any media except writing can be used. The only thing is that you must come up with a breed name that you must write in the Artist's Comments section of your Deviation.
3. No porn or sexual art.
4. Please link back to the contest or me in your picture's description.
5. Must be all your own work, no tracing or copying
6. 1 entry per person, you can cancel it or update it or even change it so long as the new entry also follows the rules.

Prizes:

1st Prize: A month feature in my journal, a color picture of your Griffpet, and a color picture of your original character.

2nd Prize: Two week feature in my journal, a color picture of you Griffpet, and an inked line art of your original character.

3rd Prize: One week feature in my journal and a line art picture of you Griffpet.

Main goal: Just have fun and be imaginative.
