The results for the Mythic Poetry Competition were announced earlier in the week. To read the winning entries plus comments from poet Roddy Lumsden, click here. The results for the Mythic Prose Competition, as judged by novelist Chris Farnell, should be announced soon. For a few weeks now the Lit forum rules thread has been updated. It's a(nother) Summer Writing Contest! This one is being held by *resuki and is based on a concept similar to *fotoFRIDAY and =VisualLit. Check out the article and make sure to have your entries in by 24 August 2007. To celebrate *fotoFRIDAY's first birthday, they are putting on a contest of massive proportions! Both photographers and writers are encouraged to participate by submitting a piece of writing or a photo based on their prompt of: progress. See the fotoFRIDAY news article for more details. Contest closes August 31st. *FelixT, one of the founders of *WritersForArt, is hosting his first poetry contest: Solitude. You have until 1 September 2007 to get your entries in, so that should be plenty of time to write something amazing.</div> It's time for another Monthly Lit Challenge with `pickledeer! This month your challenge is to write a fantasy story based in a simple room. Hmm, that does sound challenging! You can find more details in his article here. All entries are due by September 2nd. *Beccalicious's contest, Games and Darkness is a contest open to all genres of art, including poetry and prose, asking contestants to combine the themes of darkness and games into a single deviation. You have until September 5th, 2007 to enter this contest! The Think Pink Contest II, hosted by breast cancer survivor `JunkbyJen, begins accepting entries on 5 July 2007. You have until 30 September 2007 to get your submissions in, and all medias are allowed, so be sure to make a huge Lit contribution. `JunkbyJen will donate ten cents to Breast Cancer reasearch for every entry (one per person)!
