Apophysis and Fractal Community News!



New Gallery Director!

Hooray! Our little community now has a gallery director. Let's give a warm welcome to the very busy ^lyastri!! First a community member and then an *Apophysis admin, now ^lyastri is also choosing our Daily Deviations and cleaning up miscats from our gallery. Please let her know how grateful we are, both with a "Hi" on her page and by suggesting DD's or reporting miscategorizations.


Plugins!

Many of you will have noticed that the new Apophysis 2.06 comes with the plugin function for adding custom variations. This means, if you want to make a brand new variation, you don't have to build a whole new Apophysis to do it! Here are some plugins for general use:

New Fractal Resources Gallery!

We've had a Resources-->Tutorials-->Digita lArt-->Fractal
Art category for awhile, now, but we never had a specific place to put non-tutorial resources. Thanks to $lolly and $Moonbeam13 for giving us a Resources-->Fractal Resources gallery. This is terrific news for those who make plugins, gradients, scripts and flamepacks...no longer are you relegated to miscellanious! It will also make it easier for us to put links in our resource journal.
