SEVEN DEADLY SINS - Blue is the color of LUST - PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Time has come to celebrate deviantART's 7^th Birthday and how much better could that be with a Photography Contest ? Photography's sin for the birthday contest is, of course, LUST. Who among the community of photography, after all, doesn't LUST after a certain high end camera, a special lens, a particular image editing software title, or a discontinued film type? (Yes, I mean you.)

Lust can mean strictly sexual lust, although it is also common to speak of a ‘lust for life’, "’lust for blood (bloodlust for short)’, or a ‘lust for power’ or other goals. The Greek word which translates as lust is epithymia ( επιθυμια ), which also is translated into English as ‘to covet’.”

Many associate red with the color of lust, but blue is the color of lust. Lust can take many shapes and forms, though, so let your imagination go wild for this contest celebrating lust’s symbolic color! The possibilities are endless.

3. Your photo must be submitted between August 7th 2007 and before the deadline.
4. Send the link to your entry via note to ^hellfirediva and write " Blue is the color of Lust Contest " in the subject line.
5. No textures, text, or manipulation, IR, HDR
6. Adjustments allowed are moderate curves, levels, brightness/contrast, etc.
7.Please write a little description under your deviation.
