"I use a lot of stock myself, usually not in photomanipulations, but as references, in literature previews and in other things. A medicine book I recently published sued a stock texture in the cover design. I also take plenty of photographs, especially nature photos, that otherwise would just be lying around. So it makes sense to offer stock to others, so that I'm also giving, not just taking. Giving is always nice, and now I find myself looking at places and things thinking this might make for useful stock. I guess it is kind of a challenge too."

2.)I like to help other people. Just do, and this seems to be one of the best ways to help a lot of artists in need. Those who don't manip can use stock for references and inspiration. I love the collaboration of visions.

"I use stock pictures a lot, so I thought I'd give back. I also usually have ideas that not many other people do, but sadly I haven't been able to accomplish my more creative ideas due to lack of supplies (I mean, you don't see full body hazmat gear every day. ).
Also, I just love creating my own characters and making costumes for them. "
