A lot of my friends here at DeviantART have made pointless journals to tell their watchers, "DA is having problems," or "DA is being slow," or something along those lines. Whenever I read them, I always think: "Well DeviantART isn't being slow for me! I think it's doing a fine job at what its doing!"
So in honor of DeviantART's seventh birthday, I want to thank DeviantART for all it has done for me, in all sorts of ways. I love DeviantART.
First of all,
DeviantART let me meet a lot of friends here. And the neat thing is, they all are from different points on the globe. I have one in New Zealand, another in Malaysia, and some that live here in the United States along with me. I'm able to speak with them freely, whether it is in private or through comments and suggestions. The features DeviantART has of comments and a reply has really helped me with making friends.
Next on my list, I'd have to say
I like DeviantART because of it's diversity in art. Not in all of my life have I met such wonderful Traditional artists such as =
kaoru-chan, *
Giname and one of my friends *
SiSero. I'm inspired by all kinds of art, whether it is photography, literature, digital, traditional, or any other type. All kinds of art go into my favorites.
Ooh, I
love that favorites and watch system! Instead of having to save all of the pictures I like onto my PC or bookmarking the page, I can simply click the

button! Same with the watch system, I can click the :+watch: link instead of bookmarking. Receiving updates come along with this, though.
Receiving messages and updates is helpful as well, it helps me browse easier, and find my favorite artists stuff in a pinch! Even though I receive up to one-thousand deviations a month in my inbox, it is much better than having to check the artist for updates every now and then. Instead of checking on the three-hundred and plus deviants I like, I can easily check my inbox and have their updated art within my click. Easy, no? And then, if you
really like it, you could buy a print of it!
Oh yes, I love the print service as well! Anyone can sell their art as prints, in different sizes, and on different surfaces as well! You can put your art on mugs, puzzles, and much more too! I just love it that I can receive money, even though I havent gone to the printing shop and printed out a nice, clean picture.
To sum it all up, I just wanted to say,
Thank you, DeviantART.
###
I really hope I get some nice comments out of this, this is my first news article, and I hope I did a good enough job. Im a decent writer, right?
Dedicated to my friends here at DeviantART, and of course, all of the DeviantART staff as well.

I love what you all have done for me, and everyone else.
Sincerely,
~

Think about the Staff as well? Do you have any idea how large they may be? Or how much stuff they actually have to put up with on a daily basis, site problems as well as dealing with ignorant people? Woo! That's too much for me!
I first joined dA just to Fav drawings/Literature and leave comments, but after staying here awhile I got to looking at other peoples art and began studying them (i.e. I started drawing again). Then I started playing with my Adobe Photoshop.
A year and a half later, I've gotten so good with my drawing and coloring on Photoshop now that I can start making my own Prints. How about that? And it's all because of dA.
So yeah. Thanks dA!

But other than that it's a total waste of my artistic time, sadly enough. ;_; It's become nothing but sheep following other people, craving page views and over-flooded with too many artists.
