Happy Birthday DeviantART
In case you didn't notice today (August 7th) was DeviantArts 7th Birthday!
To celebrate there were contests, challenges, sub giveaways and much more! I was in DAmn giving out subs for comic and other trivia for most of the day!
We had some great fun, I hope you guys were all able to spend a little time having fun on DA too!
In case you haven't been on DA for very long or if you have and want a little trip down memory lane, check this out:
I joined in October 2002, so you can see what it looked like when I first joined. Big changes huh?
What will the future hold for DA!
On top of all the random fun we were having, the AR team is also running a 7 deadly Sins and 7 Heavenly Virtues contest theme. For Comics, I managed to grab us
Justice! Is that perfect or what?
I thought so, so in keeping with the 7 theme I've given 7 days for this contest! I know it's not a lot of time, but it'spans a weekend, so you should do just fine. I'm not expecting your lifes work, try and have some fun!
See contest details below or visit
this journal, where the entries are also being posted.
This contest also covers anime/Manga.

Gallery Updates
I'm a little dissapointed in your lack of reports in the report desk. I go through the galleries and I can move 3 pages easy, and you guy's cant report one miscat? I know it's not that you cant find them.
Please support your community and help out your gallery directors by reporting misplacments.
Gallery Descriptions... are moving along... give me a little more time.
We have another event coming up after this so keep your eyes peeled! We've got some AWESOME volunteers for this one, I cant wait to get it going!
Features
Instead of the usual comic art features I thought I would feature some comic resources!
Heres some fonts and other things from my favorites for every comic artist!
and something to create your masterpieces!
Thanks everyone for reading!
Please send in your suggestions for features and Daily deviations!
Also, please report miscats!

I think you do nothing of consequence if you try and please some amorphous audience. I think you really have to do work that you like, and hope that people will come along for the ride. - Dave McKean
