Featured are artworks that I think deserve attention and admiration. It is easy to be a critic, but not so easy to be an artist. One can eat the cake and simply say, "It's too sweet!" But it is much harder to actually bake the cake. The article aims to celebrate the creative works of these artists, for I think most artists are actually their own worst critics, this is to let them know that their art is greatly appreciated!

Hello Deviants~ Welcome to Wednesday's Wall ~ 8/08/07! 
Firstly, I would like to to offer a hearty Congratulations and Happy Birthday to DA!Yesterday marked the 7 year birthday of our beloved website, and the beginning of many contests and festivities continuing throughout the coming days! So, in the spirit of celebration and reflection.
I would like to show you a few of the very first WOWs ever submitted here on DA, the very first month after it's inception.
I went to the 'WAY BACK' section of the browse categories and went on a treasure hunt.
Not surprisingly, there were only 4 pages for the entire month of Aug 2000. 
There were precious few deviations and even more precious and fewer artists!This small example of the 1st deviations submitted to the site, helped to begin, what was to follow, the snowball effect of what DeviantArt has become today!
Enjoy this look back 7 years into the past....
....and on to an even brighter future...filled with artwork and inspiration for millions of people worldwide!

I ran across Andrew's gorgeous fashion photographs while browsing through photography this week and was then captivated by his gallery!
With both studio and location shots, featuring a mix of classic, vintage-feeling
and post-modern fashion, he seems to get the best from his models.
His artistic sensibilities, shown through his lens, appeal to the
inner fashionista in me!
