Welcome to the weekly Help Desk news. In these weekly updates we will attempt to bring you the most up to date information, as well as provide some helpful hints for super duper deviantART fun.

This weeks update covers two weeks of updates.

Hexe's Corner

This week Little hex is coming to visit me (), so I will be on vacation starting tomorrow and will return August 21st, 2007.

In other news this week, the desk has been a little backed up lately due to some recent major bugs, since most of these bugs have now been resolved we're begining to see a slow down in new tickets being submitted, so things should be returning to normal shortly.

Ewm's Corner

This week I would like to remind everyone that the Help Desk cannot receive thumbnail codes in Help Desk tickets.

Instead if you need to show us a deviation we would prefer that you send us the direct link to the deviation in question. When you create a direct link to a deviation it should look like the following. [link]

By sending us the deviation information in the correct format this will help make sure your inquiries are answered as quickly as possible.

This week I'd like to talk about why our forum here is set up the way it is. Over the past week I've noticed a jump in the tickets asking how to browse older forum threads, where the pages of the older threads are, why a thread simply drops off the bottom of the page when activity ceases. Being a member of a couple of off site forums myself the desire to root through the older threads by pages is understandable. However, here at dA, that option is not available simply because we like to keep the topics fresh! And because our code is home-grown our forum is exactly how we need it, from posting and viewing to our administrative tools.

But if the mood strikes ya and is just too irresistible to ignore you are able to search for older threads!
