Dear friends, In the animated atmosphere of gradually growing Vietnamese comics in the year 2009, I feel so surprised and hopeful about our comics in the future. The reason is that many young artists appear and show off their talents - That is everyone's long-awaited pride. Along with GreenFarm, Manzin and the forthcoming Truyện Tranh Việt Online, Vietnamese comics is believed to be better and move to a higher phase.
Therefore, in order to warm up the air as well as to creat an interesting and realistic activity for all young artists, basing on the idea of Kaboom Ink on DeviantART, =Clap-san and I really hope to lauch a campaign:
I wish and believe that this artbook will be supported by all of you. Lets show to the international friends the joy and unity of our Vietnamese-comics community! ^_^

These might be mainly features of my friends and watchers, but as you can see: Theres a LOT to discover on deviantART, no matter how many or few Pageviews!
Just click around and look at a few galleries, and you will see what i mean!
So, thanks for reading, thanks for checking all this out, i hope you enjoy !!!
This is a feature to thank all deviants who ever added me to their watch-list. Please take a look at the wonderful galleries of these artists who have supported me so far!
There's always lots of News Features about a variety of artists, genres and mediums designed to bring them to our attention. This one dives a little more specficically, down to the basics of pencil sketches.
Pencil sketches are often just as powerful as a full coloured picture and can hold a special life that just gets lost with cleaned up lineart (not to mention is probably the cheapest and most beneficial way to learn and practice). So often are pencil sketches hidden away in Scraps where few people venture so they aren't often out where we can see them. Here are some pencil sketches taken from my people I watch on DA, with few views, that I think are worth a second look.
Never forget, most of the beautiful pieces of art you see probably started out as little more than a pencil sketch.
I'll probably do another submission of this once I have more time to sift through the millions of wonderful pencil sketches DA artist's have to offer. Know of one that you really like? Think it's exceptional, beautiful, cool or just plain 'ol fun? Note me with the subject heading ' Pencil Suggestion '; and I'll add it to my list of possible future features
It's 'cause everyone's all "OMG MAKE IT SHINY WITH COLOR PLZ".
Heck, I myself have started coloring my art o.o Partially because it's fun (at first), and partially to learn more about shading and stuff >>;; (I have a harder time with pencil 'cause it smudges...)
Those pencilworks are really good, though. It amazes me what people can do with a simple, good old pencil O:

Portfolio is the simplest and most professional tool on the Internet for formal presentation and review of artwork, and the best part is: it's available to everyone for FREE!

DaVinci, Picasso, Monet... these are all names I'm sure you've heard of before. They are the Masters of the art world and their talents are world renowned. But have you ever looked at their pieces and thought to yourself "I could do better" or "that would look awesome in a comic style"? Well here's your chance. How would you have painted DaVinci's Mona Lisa? Show me using only Vectors.
