In this series of features, I aim to show that oekaki should not be underestimated! Call me an oekaki ambassador, if you will.
I began by showcasing oekaki realism, and am now going to move on to all aspects of oekaki art.
I thought I'd start with use of colour. These are only a small selection of the pieces on dA which venture outside the applets' colour palettes to create some truly great pieces. Take a look at some of the fantastic scenes and worlds these artists have imagined.
If you know of any more that you think deserve a mention, please let me know in a reply or a note!
