Comments or Cruelty?

I know some may see this as an issue only for BBW models, but really think about it, how many of you have gotten comments that were not helpful in any way, just hurtful, rude and cruel.
I know we can not regulate manners but I think the difference between critiquing someones work and insulting them personally needs to be addressed

Google Chrome EULA warning

=MrThunderfield:iconMrThunderfield: reports, 1d 10h ago
You might have heard about Googles new web browser Chrome. But people who really read the EULA found out something rather disturbing: Google gets the rights to everything you create or publish with Chrome. So before we get further info about this, I wouldn't recommend submitting deviations with Chrome.

R E D

…instantly what do you feel, think and see when you read the word R-E-D

What is red?
It’s a colour yes but its much more than a colour, read on to find out more.

According to Wikipedia, “red is any of a number of similar colors evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light discernible by the human eye”.
In practical terms such as human colour psychology, red can evoke emotions such as anger, passion, love; and it is often associated with energy and blood. Red is a bright, hot colour that catches people’s attention, often it is used to indicate danger or emergency, for example, fire and heat; the use of stop signs and hazard signs.

Cultural symbolism
Red is used fluently everyday and in many ways across the world. In certain cultures, red is associated with health, success, joy and good luck, assumingly because it is the colour of blood. It also represents beauty in Russia, and it is the traditional colour of bridal dresses in India and it is considered holy in some parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. Red was even used to prevent witchcraft and to prevent and cure numerous ailments. Red was also thought to be taboo, like petals falling from a poppy or a red rose are an evil omen for the person holding it

How is it used in art you may ask? For visual impact, in advertisements where red has a psychological impact on viewers, to represent love, pain, anger and to simply evoke emotions.

Take a look at some amazing red pieces that I found here on Deviant Art and from my forum on The Colour Red and let their art induce your emotions

Red is a powerful colour when used visually and in Art, depending on how it is used and perceived, it can evoke many feelings for the artist and the viewer. More often, red is captivating, and among other colours it stands out and it entices.

I loved what you said about symbolism in many countries, it's really interesting, I made a research work about color and its influence in the people some time ago for a project, I found really helpful Wassily Kandinsky's "Concerning the Spiritual in Art" book, it's old but a good lecture. Thanks a lot again for feature, it's the first time a get featured in an article.
