The August Feature -
Finally the opportunity to give someone a helping hand, giving a chance to give the chosen artist the recognition he/she is worthy of. So as you know from before this will happen once every month, and Ill go deep into the artists personality and reveal interesting things about them. The chosen one gets an interview done and their art featured with thumbs until the next time for an artist to be revealed. Anyway I hope you do enjoy this months feature and that you enjoy spending the time reading and getting to know a very unique talent every month.
Manipulating pictures not people,
For those of you that know him, youve probably seen him unveil his talent lately and have enjoyed it as much as I have hopefully. The title chosen for the article contemplates in my opinion a perfect match together with the person himself, as his own personal quote is exactly manipulating pictures not people. Im proud to announce that this months featured unique talent is jggy!
With an easy click on my well-used A4 Tech mouse, I find myself surprised as I enter the world of jggys wonderful art. Just taking everything is kind of overwhelming this guy is seriously talented. With a second click I find myself browsing his gallery, immediately its pretty obvious that first of all hes amazing at what he does and that photo manipulation working with a lot of textures creating different art-pieces which posses a lot of emotions and what seems as a mysterious fog lays over such incredible and interesting work. Many people say that things can always be improved and I myself agree with that, but jggy really presses the boundary with his work. I then take the pleasure of reading such sensible words, having read his journal. What pleases me the most is that jggy not only has talent but he doesnt sell himself to get more page views and more comments, by doing whats seems to very popular now days at deviant, such as manga or having pictures of good looking naked girls. I have nothing against those who do those genres its art as well, but sadly there are people that try and get more attention by doing stuff that is popular. To be honest there are some famous people here at deviant who can do a random piece which someone that has 100 page views could do as well and get like a single favourite, instead these people get 2000 favourites. So for me its very pleasing to see someone that wants attention for what hes good at and nothing else. Having only had an account at deviant for the past month jggy is increasingly becoming better and better, and I hope that with this feature about him will take him to the next level. With those final words, Id like to say please take a few minutes out of your time to check his gallery out, I assure you it will be worth your time.
Biography,
Now that you know a bit more about jggy as an artist its time to get to know him more in person. Who is the man behind these integrate art pieces? What inspires him?
Its a Friday night and I finally get the opportunity to get know more about the man who goes under the name of jggy.
What a wonderful place the likes of DeviantART is, it gives you the opportunity to meet different artists from all around the world even places youd least expect. Today we travel to the north of the very small European country Liechtenstein, to the city of Ruggell. Its here in Ruggell where 27-year-old Jürgen, which is jggys real name, comes from. It all began at the age of 17 with the making of self-made cd-covers and desktop wallpapers that todays talented photomanipulator began his interest in art. But it wasnt until he started to work as a web designer that his interest became serious. As for the majority of most of todays artists Jürgen began with tutorials before going to the more advanced things. When asked what his inspiration was in the beginning and if it was the same now he replied, I've been interested in design and graphics since I can remember... but I never had really the talent to draw. So with the use of Photoshop and other programs I found a possibility do something with arts without needing to know how to draw really good. My inspiration came from different things. Surfing in the web, seeing a lot of different designs and styles, from magazines, movies and after I found out about DeviantART also all the very talented deviants around here. Finally the future for Jürgen could change direction, with what he does best leaves him with little space for experimenting, we could see different art pieces from this talented youngster. So as one of his followers, Id like to say that the future looks bright and extremely hopeful.

er... um....
I asked a question, and you gave me an answer that made me look (and feel, a little) stupid. I was wondering if he knew that the was a news article AND a journal post. That's all.
