Daily Literature Deviations - November 30, 2009

=DailyLitDeviations:iconDailyLitDeviations: reports, 2h 51m ago
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you :+fav: the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Unique Artists On Deviantart Vol. 1

~egn56:iconegn56: reports, August 17, 2007
So I :iconegn56: decided to take upon myself in releasing a news article about some of the more unique artist's you find on deviantart. Many may find a lot of digital art to be very cliché at times, with so many artists’ doing the same thing and trying to mimic other artist’s style. I know that, because I myself at times find myself trying to use techniques that other artist’s have used to make a good piece. However, amongst all of this there are some real unique talents out there. Artist’s who do not make art to standards and make art in their own way, with their own concepts. So I give you the first installment of the unofficial unique artists of deviantart. (Should I underline that?)

1. H3AD3AD :iconh3ad3ad:
I first saw his work a while back in a feature of the popular group vectorslovers. Let me put it this way I was dragged in. I think I wound up going through his whole gallery and adding nearly twenty pieces of his to my favorites, just admiring the unique color choices, the mixture of vector styles and darker styles. The somewhat I guess you can say sci-fi yet serious cartoonish feel that his artwork has. I don’t even know how to describe it beyond great. Every piece he makes just has such a unique feel to it, definitely one of the most unique artist’s around.
Some of his work:

2. Saltyshadow :iconsaltyshadow:
The first piece I saw from her was her pigda piece. It was so wonderful that I didn’t even need to see another piece to watch her. The colors and unique drawing style she had amazed me. Her ability to further use this style in photo manipulations and the progression she made kept me enthralled. There is not piece of saltyshadow’s that doesn’t have crazy wild colors and a cool concept behind. Every piece she makes has so much detail and color and is so different. I have never seen someone make something like saltyshadow and I don’t think I ever will her work is her own style that comes straight from her heart.
Some of her work:

3. archanN :iconarchann:
Most of you probably know archanN as a great guy, and one of the coolest people on deviantart. He always comments back, always gives good criticism and makes some insane art. archanN is one of the few people I have ever seen do so many different styles so well. He can make some crazy vector with tons of wild colors, a cool photomanip or some really great looking surreal art. The man can do it all, and in each piece he just puts in his own flare. Sometimes he will make something related to his native culture of India, or sometimes he will just make a piece about his pen. Every piece he makes is completely different from any other piece he has made, and while even if you may not like them all he is an artist of many talents. Nobody else I have seen can pull of that many styles and be that good at them all.
Some of his work:

4. Russetman :iconrussetman:
A while back russetman said he was giving up art, I think I nearly cried. Okay I didn’t nearly cry but I was upset. One of the first artist’s I ever really took a liking too, someone I was clearly amazed by was russetman. His crazy vector style, which mixes many different elements never fails to amaze me. The colors he uses are always so vibrant and enthralling, and heck even his black and white piece was vibrant. So just take look, since I am at a lost for words into trying to explain it, that’s how great it is.
Some of his work:

5. Dark-Crown :icondark-crown:
From the surface, dark-crown may come across as another vector/pop artist. If you think that you are mistaken, take a good look at his work. Dark-Crown may just be onto something with his art. His mixture of drawing and the elements of vector and pop art can turn out some eye pleasing pieces. With bright colors, and some serious concepts dark-crown gets the message across with some eye candy to go with it. With each piece he makes more and more progress and shows more and more of what he can really do. Even if he was convinced he was in a slump.
Some of his work:

6. 1ALPHA1 :icon1alpha1:
Many people may say 3d abstract art all looks the same, that may be true sometimes, but that is completely wrong. I can make a list of unique 3d artists, so I figure I would start with my personal favorite 1alpha1. His renders, each and everyone look so unique and different. A style of his own, with cool shapes and great colors in every single render he makes. His piece’s are insane too, with some blending of renders into realistic scenes, or just some crazy backgrounds that are a piece themselves. Yet in each case the backgrounds and renders fit so well together you see them as a whole and not a cool render on a cool background, his pieces are more than just about a really cool render, which is what a lot of 3d abstract can seem to be. His pieces are a piece in a whole.
Some of his work:

So I hope you all enjoyed this, and I am glad you took the time to read. Note me if you have some artist’s you think should be included next month, I also will have a separate section in next month’s for unique pieces so if you want to note me some of those too be my guest, I am always open for suggestions. So what do I do now? Comment and show love 
